Nick Kett: Technical Director
With qualifications in electrical, electronic & telecommunications engineering plus many vendor specific qualifications, Nick has over 25 years practical and managerial experience in the Telecommunications industry.
Specialities include LF to Microwave radio, IP routing & switching, Cisco, satellite ground stations & link engineering, telephony and Internet service provision.
Having delivered reliable communications systems to some of the worlds most hostile and remote environments, Nick's current challange is to provide Broadband and telephone to the Spanish Campo!
Curriculum
2003- present: Company Director of Rebeloak SL providing hardware and technical support to numerous wireless internet service providers.
2003-2005: British Telecom (Broadcast & Satellite Services division). Satellite Systems Design Engineer for corporate satellite solutions.
2001-2003: Satellite Media Services LTD, providing Internet via satellite to major telecomms operators in the Middle East, Africa & Asia.
1998-2001: Marconi Secure Networks, Senior Design Engineer / consultant for government and military communications projects .
1996-1998: British Telecom Project Manager for deployment of Homehighway products, B.T's early Broadband service.
1981- 1996:Telecoms Engineer & Project Manager providing telecoms services to difficult and remote locations for the Oil Industry (Elf, Occidental, Marathon Oil, British Gas).
